Milo the little mouse found a tiny silver lantern glowing in the grass. It hummed softly, like the moon was whispering his name.
Milo wanted to help, but the forest looked very big and dark. He held the lantern close and took one small brave step forward.
At the old mushroom bridge, Milo met Pippa the frog. “That lantern belongs to the Moon Moths,” she said. “I know the way to their hill.”
On Moon Moth Hill, dozens of soft wings fluttered in the blue night. The smallest moth was crying because their path home had gone dark.
Milo lifted the lantern high. Its silver light filled the sky, and the Moon Moths danced home. Milo smiled, feeling small, bright, and brave.
